The conditions below apply to the use of the website and the services offered by TorVPN. The service is operated by Lockspin UK Ltd ("TorVPN", "we", "us" or "our") in the United Kingdom. The terms of use apply to all of of the website and services and form a legal agreement between you and TorVPN. By using the website or the services, you confirm that you understand and accept the terms laid out in this document, as well as the contents of the Privacy Policy and other relevant rules on the website. We may make alterations to these terms from time to time. If you are not happy with any changes, you must stop using the website and the services.
You agree not to do any of the following:
- send unsolicited e-mails, text messages or any unwanted advertisement
- gain unauthorised access to any part of the services
- gain unauthorised access to any third party service on the internet
- use the services in any way that breaks laws in the United Kingdom or the country where the server is located
- post personal information of anyone without their consent or harrass them
- launch or take part in any form of denial of service attacks
- do any type of mass scan for services (ssh, web, etc)
- attempt to do any of the above
- re-sell our services or share access to any VPN accounts
You are allowed to create VPN service accounts for family and close friends as long as they have read and agree to the Terms. But please remember, whatever happens from their account is still your responsibility. It is not allowed to re-sell the account, share access to the services or account information to your 'users' or 'visitors' or similar.
You may not share copyrighted content through the servers without permission. If we receive a report about copyright infringement, we reserve the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the offending account. TorVPN provides neither a partial not a full refund if the account is suspended for this reason.
You agree not to do any of the following:
- hack, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the website or any part of it
- gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or the connected services
- use your access the sending of direct marketing
- copy, exploit or frame any part of the website or the content it contains
- attempt to do any of the above
Any services paid for have an expiry of 12 months starting from the payment date. After this period, no extension may be requested and no refunds are provided for unused services.
A refund will be considered if the customer has taken reasonable steps to use the service but is unable to. We are in no way obligated to provide a refund for funds deposited except where required by law. You agree to forfeit your right to withdrawal once you have started to transfer data through the VPN. You agree for all services on the account be terminated with immediate effect if we receive a refund request or dispute through the payment provider.
Unless otherwise specified, all copyright, design rights, database rights, patent rights, trade mark and trade dress rights and other intellectual property rights belong to and vest in us or are licensed to us. All third party trade names and trade marks are the property of their respective owners and we make no warranty or representation in relation to them.
TorVPN makes no guarantees that a specific server, or a server in a specific country or continent is available.
Third party services and websites (Netflix, Paypal, Youtube, Google etc) are within their rights to block access from TorVPN servers or VPN/proxy servers in general. By using the service, you acknowledge this is a possibility and also that TorVPN does not ensure access to any specific third party websites or other resources.
TorVPN suspends all accounts (either manually or automatically) which are found to break the T&C in any way. Any actions taken through the VPN including connections made and data packets sent out are the user's responsibility. TorVPN may not always send a notification about the suspension. Re-activating a suspended account is completely at the discretion of TorVPN and is based on any damages done by the action and the likelihood of it repeating.
We provide and maintain the website and the connected services on an "as is" and "as available" basis and we are liable only to provide our services with reasonable skill and care. We have not verified or reviewed External Sites and all use and access of External Sites is made at your own risk. "External Sites" means third party websites and online services to which the Website links. We give no other warranty in connection with the Website and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for:
- any interruptions to the Website or services
- the availability, quality, content or nature of external websites
- any amount or kind of loss or damage due to viruses or other malicious software
